General Purpose Forceps and Tweezers
Available in a variety of sizes, styles, and configurations to support specific handling requirements, including pointed, blunt, rounded, curved, angled, or flat tips; plain or serrated gripping surfaces; scissor-style handles; self-closing designs; alignment guide pins; and protective foam, silicone, or PTFE-coated surfaces to enhance grip and minimize contamination or damage to sensitive components and materials.
Typical applications include manipulation of microscope coverslips, filter papers and discs, electronic components, precision mechanical parts, and other small or fragile items in controlled, industrial, research, and manufacturing environments. Excludes surgical, dissection, and other medical forceps intended for clinical procedures.

Type 0 tweezers have short, thin tips. Made of antimagnetic steel that is composed of C, Cr, Ni and Mo. It offers a good resistance to corrosion thanks to its high concentration of molybdenum and is 80% antimagnetic but is not as hard as Inox. Antimagnetic is resistant up to temperatures of around 400 degree C (DIN 50 914) and is suitable for autoclave sterilization at 270 degree C. Good resistance to corrosion, 80% antimagnetic but not as hard as Inox. Temperatures of 400 deg C. Autoclave sterilize at 270 deg C.
